A Statement

A lot has happened since I published the last Monthly blogpost and I am writing the following paragraphs due to some things I'd like to come clean about regarding the past one and a half month.

Late January and the whole month of February was extremely miserable for me. I've suffered a family member's passing, got extremely overwhelmed with a month of non-stop school exams, my family's still ongoing financial struggles and overdue commission work (same ones from December) that I barely got myself to finish before a one week school break. And this is the point where I made some missteps myself. Due to my mental state, I let myself fuck up in multiple ways, I've become inactive on all of my social media accounts for a week without proper notice due to how desperately I needed a break, I went way past my commission TOS' deadline, I quietly cancelled my plans to reopen them, among other mistakes I can't publicly talk about.

If I've given you a bad perception of myself or hurt you either publicly or privately under this timeframe, I'd like to beg for your apology. I will take accountability for whatever I've done and compensate for damages to the best of my ability, alongside working towards not making these mistakes again. It was one of the darkest times of my life, but I can't ignore my own faults, because that's the one only I can fix. I used this week break not to just relax and get back on my feet somewhat, but to reflect on everything I did wrong aswell.

Also, please don't feel too bad about me, I will be okay. I learned a lot from this and I will try my best to manage things better next time.

In other words...

Yeah, I took a week break, I didn't open any social media app except TikTok when I took a dump, but like c'mon. I'm really glad I didn't use Twitter especially, shit got really bad in there when a furry microceleb got cancelled, and I gotta say I am a lot happier without doomscrolling that much now, I'm definitely cutting down on that going forward. It's also been a little weird without chatting with others that often, I'm not saying it's better, but I'm saying that I need to teach myself how to properly log off for a bit lmao.
A week isn't much of a break, especially knowing that the bullshit will continue right as I come back, but at least I had some time to properly sleep again, I was genuinely so fucking tired on the last week before the break, I didn't know how I survived without sleeping in class.

I also played a lot of Fortnite and Among Us!!! Idk who cares but I do! (Play with me together pleaseeee).

I ALSO also got some of my passion back for drawing, I lost a lot of that after I've finished the commissions due to how overwhelmed I was of other things. I will be posting these on social media throughout next week, I love how they look.

Birthday stuffs

I almost forgot to mention, I turned 17 at the start of February!! Wooooo!!!!
It was quite fun, I made a birthday piece like every year and built a LEGO set I got alongside my cake!

I got some very VERY amazing fanart as gifts for the day, I love how all of them look, shoutout to every artist credited!!!

Commission Status

Yeah....... Again, I apologize for not reopening my commissions. I'm still not in a situation where I can work on them stress-free. But to compensate, I do plan on dropping a batch of adoptables, due to how well received the very first one was last time. It's pretty disappointing I know, I plan to reopen commissions when I'm closer to the end of the school year (the teachers have been playing around less with us for a while and I'd rather not risk another stress factor). I can't confirm when I'll release the adoptables, so be patient please!




I wish I had more to talk about at the moment, but that's kind of it for this Monthly. I hope I can come back in the next one with better news, this one was very bleak. See y'all next month!!
